What does it say about me that every time I read the "What are you doing right now" prompt on Facebook, I instinctively read it as, "What are you wearing right now" and feel just a little bit violated?

The only possible explanation is that you dress fashionably and everyone wants to know what you are wearing.
It says nothing worse about than it says about me that any time I do ANYTHING, I think "would this be a funny Facebook update?"
